Formerly the Electric Regulator Division of Ward Leonard making regulators for motor generator sets, Electric Regulator became an independent company in 1945. Electric Regulator Corp., (ERC) transformed the motor drive industry in 1959 with it’s introduction of the SCR control DC drive. With advances in technology, ERC has continued to fulfill our customers needs by introducing a comprehensive line of IGBT controlled variable frequency AC drives.
